How are your cutting boards finished?

We start by using waterproof glue in our cutting board laminations to ensure that the joins stay nice and closed for a very long time. Then we raise the grains on our boards by water popping and then sanding a couple of times so your board stays nice and smooth when it comes in contact with moisture. Third we soak the boards in a food grain mineral oil, allowing it to penetrate the pores, creating a barrier between the wood and moisture. Lastly we finish the boards off with a mixture of beeswax and food grade mineral oil to coat the boards. (This step is recommended as a maintenance coating every couple of washes.
Do you build everything to order?

While some items are kept in stock or are unique one of a kind pieces that are built and ready to ship, it is not usual for us to build an item specifically for you once you have ordered it. In most cases this only add about 2 to 3 days before shipping and should still allow for plenty of time for you to get your items within 2 to 3 weeks of ordering.
Can I insert a video in my FAQ?

Yes! Users can add video from YouTube or Vimeo with ease: Enter App Settings Click the "Manage Questions" button Click on the question you would like to attach a video to When editing your answer, click on the video icon and then paste the YouTube or Vimeo video URL That's it! A thumbnail of your video will appear in answer text box
How do I edit or remove the "FAQ title"?"

The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.
